I was just thinking of it this morning as I awoke to a snow covered world. I love blending herbs and resins, and burning them for meditation and yoga. I also make smudge sticks, and braided herb rope for burning. Mostly with what we grow. I have not been out today, but can just imagine the contrast of the snow on the sage in the garden. My first glimpse this morning was the snow resting on holly leaves with the red berries shining like tree lights. Very uplifting for a cold wintes day.
Peace, Zz.......Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11482493583390640428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28037586.post-6454140954114350002007-01-21T07:32:00.000-05:002007-01-21T07:32:00.000-05:00Yes, Chaya, it's good to have that quiet time, it'...Yes, Chaya, it's good to have that quiet time, it's a nice way to think of winter...indieperfumeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16933060392329498890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28037586.post-2764339448897671462007-01-18T07:10:00.000-05:002007-01-18T07:10:00.000-05:00What an object of delight- thank you for the visua...What an object of delight- thank you for the visual.

I appreciate the contemplative post...
Seasonally, I believe that contemplation,in this climate anyway, is inseparable from the winter, or at least, enmeshed.

Hope sweet sleep is a more frequent, and generous visitor at your house, these days !

Love,
Ichayaruchamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04889166567884475415noreply@blogger.com
