Honestly, I have very few "musk experiences". I use Muscs Kublai Khan every once in a while, and don't find it "dirty". Neither does my wife. Is it that we're anosmic to something, or is it just that we were brought up in a culture less obsessed with body smells? I don't know.

Please do enter me in the drawing! My experience of natural perfumes is limited and I've learned a great deal following this Musk Project.

Thanks for your contribution!

I have tried few musk centered fragrances, but I have no doubt that my favourite so far is Musc Ravageur.

The only musk in my collection is the "clean" Bottega Verde Muschio, in the lines of Il Profvmo Musc Bleu.

I'd love to try Dupetit No. 5. It sounds great according to your review. A walk in the woods is just what I need :)

Please, enter me in the draw!

Thank you!

The Natural perfume musks seem quite different to me than those in other perfumes -- instead of a sheer clean skin tone it seems more like a furry animal that ran through a fragrant hayfield -- good luck to all and I think the winner will be intrigued...

I'm fascinated with the ingredients - and I LOOOOOVE oakmoss. Please enter me in the draw. Thanks!

I am pretty sheltered when it comes to "musk experiences." I have smelled several musky perfumes I have loved, but I honestly don't know what they were. I have just begun to explore natural and/ or niche perfumes.

Please enter me.

I don't have many experiences with musk fragrances, particularly the natural, non-synthetic variety, but that doesn't mean by a long shot I wouldn't love to try this - I adore oakmoss. Please enter me for the draw - and thank you for a great and evocative blog!

I actually don't have any musk experiences outside of the synthetic kind, so this one could be my first natural!

Hmmmmm, have not had a "musk" moment of my own. Only enjoyed it on others so please enter me in the winner's circle. Thank you.

I, too, can't say I've had a particular musk experience -- but now I wish I had! I'd love to be entered in the drawing! Thank you!

Musk is a new thing for me. The Botanical musks coming out of the Mystery of Musk project fascinate me.

If Canadians are eligible, I would love to be entered in the draw.

I don't have much musk experience of the natural kind besides Hopi Botanicals oakmoss black amber balm which I highly recommend. Thanks for doing the giveaway!

It will be very interesting for those of you who are not familiar with musk. It is a complicated lovely fragrance, and again as I have said very different than those perfumes titled musk that are made without naturals...and of course Canada is eligible, everyone is...

Hi Lucy,
I love reading your blog, the way you use words to describe perfumes is fascinating and I find myself quite carried away.... to the point here I want to buy everything you talk about.
I was sitting here wondering what was the unusual and not quite right smell emanating from me and sniffing every part of me until I discovered it was my dress. It's musty from being left in the washing machine too long before I hung it out to dry!!! That's a 'musty' experience, a slip of the 'k' in the absence of real musk stories!

If I'm not too late, please enter me in the draw!

I haven't tried that many musks and no natural ones at all. I'm dying to try so many of the perfumes reviewed for the natural musk project. Also looked at the Dupetit website and their scents sound truly amazing.

I'm glad that more people are discovering naturals and musk through the project. Good luck to everyone!

I'm intrigued by Dupetit's Musk No.5 because I really can't imagine what it smells like, even with the notes list you provided and your evocative review. I'm mostly a natural perfume lover, though I love some vintage scents too. I just received my bottle of another of the Mystery of Musk entries (Sharini Grains de Paradis) and I'm in love. I love the entire natural perfumer's palette. This entire musk project has broadened my experience even though I already appreciated natural perfumes before, and really showcases the best of what natural perfumers can do.

I also wanted to say I enjoy reading your blog, and I think this may be my first comment!

I would write more but my house is overrun with children on summer vacation and there is no peace to tell you anything! HA.

Thank you!

I believe I'm a bit late to the party... but I had been following the musk project since the beginning of July~ Dupetit seems to be the last one to arrive all around and it doesn't help that I'm on vacation on the other side of the world =) Musk makes me feel feminine and confident at the same time... natural with a bit of something more...
